The need
Residents walk more than an hour each day to fetch water from an unsafe dam, leading to frequent waterborne illness.
What we did
ILOLISKA is funding a mechanised borehole with a community water committee trained to maintain it.
Results
Once complete, the borehole will serve an estimated 1,500 residents.
